So first Arrieta pitches his second career no hitter in Cincinnati making all sorts of history while doing it. It was his second no hitter in only 11 regular season starts, he broke Cincinnati’s streak of getting at least 1 hit in a game that was over 7000 games, last time they were no hit was in the late 70s. He is now 20-1 in his last 24 regular season starts with a mind blowing .086 Era.

Then secondly Patrick Kane and Corey Crawford singlehandedly save the Blackhawks season against the blues with Kane scoring 3 minutes into the 2nd OT absolutely undressing 3 Blues defenders and Crawford standing on his head during the first OT period when it looked like the blues had all the legs. They force game 6 back in chicago and prove that you never want to let them back into a series.

If you turn a blind eye towards all the murders and move to a nice suburb it’s actually a great place to raise your kids :p

I was so excited about the no-no that I forgot about the Hawks game and went to bed without checking the score.

Poor Kris Bryant, though. 2 homers (one a slam) with 6 RBIs and it gets lost in the frenzy over the no-no :)

I was at the cubs game on Sunday and every time the Hawks would score they’d play it on the bigscreen and the crowd would go nuts!

CPD is having some well-publicized issues, too. I lived in Oak Park back in the mid-70s (before the lights at Wrigley), and my mom lived for a few years on the North Side.
